- A valid, unexpired Driver’s License
- A valid, unexpired State-issued Identification Card
- A valid, unexpired U.S. Passport
(Note: Foreign Passports and Passport Cards are not accepted, except as outlined below.) - A valid, unexpired Military Identification
- Exception: A Foreign Passport that contains a valid U.S. VISA is acceptable.
Important: A Driver’s License or State-issued ID that has been voided (e.g., hole-punched) is only acceptable if accompanied by a letter issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) stating that your new license is being sent to you via USPS mail. If you do not have this letter, the voided ID will not be accepted.

If you fail to bring an acceptable form of identification or if the name on your credential account does not match exactly with your ID:
- You will not be admitted to the examination.
- You will be marked as a No Show.
- Your examination fee will be forfeited.
- You will be required to pay again to reschedule your exam.
No exceptions will be made. Please ensure you are fully prepared on the day of your exam.
